Show rules
The ELUMN8 Recruitment Games recognize the many activities that contribute to successful recruitment — not just enrollment. Sites earn points for proactive recruitment efforts, timely communication, referral development, screening activity, and enrollment progress.
Competition timeline
Final scoring and verification: December 7–9, 2026 · Winners announced Thursday, December 10, 2026. Weekly submissions close Friday at noon.
How to earn points

Recognition & prizes
Recruitment Games Champion — the site with the highest overall verified point total. Proposed award: sponsor-approved team lunch, newsletter recognition and a certificate.
Most Improved Site — the greatest improvement in recruitment activity relative to its pre-launch baseline. Proposed award: coffee or continental breakfast for the study team (up to $100), newsletter recognition and a certificate.
Weekly Spotlights — non-monetary recognition for referral outreach, fast communication, recruitment breakthroughs and notable progress.
Operating rules
- Only verified activities count toward the leaderboard.
- Use study/referral identifiers only — never patient names, dates of birth, contact details or other direct identifiers.
- The same activity definitions and frequency caps apply to every site.
- Referral outreach must be a substantive, documented effort; routine passive distribution alone does not qualify.
- Poster/pocket guide implementation earns points once, not each week.
- If an activity qualifies for both a base activity and a bonus, both may be awarded.
- Thanksgiving week (Nov 23–29) is excluded from scoring.
- Any scoring exception is documented before the leaderboard is distributed.
How activity is captured
Submit each qualifying activity as a claim on this site (or email it to Susan Krick, ELUMN8 Patient Recruitment Advisor). Susan or Jessica verifies every claim before points are added. Claims for a week must be in by Friday at noon to count on Monday's leaderboard.
Program activities, points, and awards are subject to sponsor approval and participating-site institutional requirements. No award is contingent on an individual patient's decision to consent, enroll, or remain in the study. Enrollment contributes to the overall score, but tangible awards are not calculated as a per-patient payment.
